Associate Member of the "Institute of Civil Engineers", London (Elected 1896).

(a). Articled to, and served a regular three years' course of Pupilage with, and subsequently retained as an Assistant Engineer to the Borough Surveyor of High Wycombe, England.

(b). Assistant Engineer on Sea Wall and Foreshore Protection Works for the Corporation of Hastings, England.

(c). Resident Engineer on Quay Tidal River Walls, Landing Stages and Grain Warehouses for the Corporation of Stockton-on-Tees, England.

(d). Deputy Borough Engineer and Surveyor to the Corporation of Richmond Surrey, England, for 8 years.

(e). Resident Drainage Ingineer to the Hornsey Urban District Council, London, N., to date of appointment with the Mowbray Municipality, Cape Town.
